Gemma & Paul's Wedding Cake

Gemma & Paul's Wedding Cake
This cake was designed to match the invitations which used the silver-grey ribbon and brooches. The couple had co-ordinated everything in the venue to match, it looks fab!

Gemma had also put out a wicker basket full of flip-flops with a sign saying "dancing shoes" – great idea!

The lace design on the middle tier matches the bride’s dress.

The cake is big – 12", 10" and 8" tiers. The bottom tier is carrot cake, middle is lemon and top is chocolate. The pearls on the middle tier are edible.

day four kokopelli

day four kokopelli
I had painted kokopelli on this t-shirt long ago and it had all but faded away. So today I rescued it by doing embroidery around the design in pale yellow fabric.

Wrap skirt: This is the same skirt I modeled as a dress a few days ago. It was designed to be worn many ways.

Black sandals
Maribou headband I made from a feather boa.
